Alexandria King

Alexandria’s journey into the acroyoga community started a little over two years ago, in her beautiful hometown of Canmore, Alberta. Canmore offered her an array of skiing, climbing, hiking and biking. A friend of Alex’s introduced her to the acroyoga on a whim after work. She felt she needed something to connect her mind, body and spirit while increasing flexibility and strength. After countless hours of giggling, playing and falling, she knew that she needed more of this crazy activity in her life. Alex has an outgoing personality with a great passion for people! So, naturally, acroyoga fit her like a glove. Fast-forward a year and a half later, she moved to Vancouver on a mission to learn from the best of the best. It’s been a wonderful experience consisting of two teacher trainings and numerous hours of practice. Breaking personal boundaries through connection and movement is what students can expect from Alex’s class. You’ll be invited try something new and push your limits with the intention of self-discovery and fun.

Millissa Greenwood

Instagram @acromillissa
Millissa has been loving, living and thriving in the AcroYoga world where she has finally found a place that feels like home. She got hooked like many, through the grace, beauty and ease of flying. Yet, over the years has developed a deeper and fuller love of Acro and now bases and flys with parallel strength and excitement. Her love of Acro is rooted in the self expression and creativity it fosters in all AcroYogis, from beginner to advanced. For Millissa, the cherry on top is the strength and delicacy required to release the ever elusive, and ultimately fulfilling personal creative expression.

Andreas Lerch

Born in Barrie, Ontario, Andreas has been climbing since he was 9. Vancouver has become his second home where he works as the Head Route Setter at the Hive Bouldering Gym. Andreas was fortunate enough to be introduced to the practice of acroyoga at Hive Yoga. He found that acro has become an amazing form of cross training. Each class is unique and creative. In addition to the flexibility training, he fell in love with how welcoming the community was. Andreas continues to grow his practice by attending regular classes around Vancouver as well as practicing with friends and his partner Alex. Acro is a growing form of yoga rich with potential and welcomes anyone. The practice has absolutely no limits.

Andreas and Alexandria are so excited to share their passion for acroyoga and expand this wonderful family! Whether you’re athletically inclined or not…Show up and give Acroyoga a shot! There’s something for everyone!

Look to your inner child, come and play soon!

Hope to see you there 🙂
